“ When I first really opened up the engine and felt the car turn into a corner, the hairs stood up on the back of my neck…when the accelerator is floored, the V8 engine bellows like a barn full of bulls. Compared to the Invicta, the Maserati Coupe feels like an uninspired piece of mass-produced cynicism. The Invicta does feel like the car James Bond would choose if he had any taste. I hope that customers will form an orderly queue stretching all the way from Chippenham (where the Invicta is made) to Bath. ”
